Job Summary
Salesperson position focused on DIY customer service and meeting sales/service objectives. Responsibilities include providing an excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls, achieving personal and store sales goals, delivering DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), maintaining inventory and store standards, and handling inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock). Also includes general store duties such as cleanliness, stocking, and delivering parts to customers. Essential skills include basic automotive system knowledge, ability to use store systems and POS/parts lookup, inventory management, basic math, English (Spanish a plus), and the ability to work varied days/evenings/weekends. Prior experience of 2-3 years in a diverse retail environment is noted as a success factor; the role can be part time or full time. Safety certification (fleet) is preferred.
