Job Summary
Salesperson role focused on providing a high-quality DIY customer experience in an automotive parts environment. Responsibilities include driving sales through in-store and phone interactions, performing DIY services such as battery installations and wiper replacements, maintaining inventory and store standards, handling deliveries and inventory tasks, and using POS and parts lookup systems. Essential skills include clear English communication (Spanish a plus), basic math, familiarity with store systems and safety procedures, ability to source parts from multiple channels, and availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. The role requires 2-3 years of sales experience in a diverse retail setting and a customer-service mindset to meet personal and store sales goals.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills
- Ability to source parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers
- Knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes
- Experience using delivery board systems and POS/parts lookup systems
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
- Basic math skills and ability to interpret safety rules and manuals
- Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends
- 2-3 years of experience in an automotive parts retail environment (preferred)
- Fleet safety certification (preferred)
- Spanish language ability (a plus)
