Job Summary
Salesperson and Store Driver role in an automotive DIY retail setting. Responsibilities include providing excellent DIY customer service, achieving sales goals, performing battery installation and other basic services, inventory management, and safe delivery of parts. Requires basic automotive knowledge, ability to source parts, familiarity with inventory and POS systems, and strong communication in English (Spanish a plus); flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends; valid driver’s license and fleet-safety certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Basic math and inventory knowledge
- English; Spanish a plus
- ASE certification preferred, but not required
- Proficiency with inventory and POS systems
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs
