Job Summary
Salesperson for an automotive DIY retail environment. Primary responsibilities include providing an excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone, achieving personal and store sales goals, and performing DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installs. Maintains inventory and operational standards, handles inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), and safely delivers parts to customers as needed. Requires basic automotive knowledge, ability to use inventory and POS systems, good communication skills, and flexibility to work various shifts including weekends; prior 2-3 years of retail sales experience preferred. The role can be part-time or full-time and may involve light lifting and physical duties as described in the job posting.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- English proficiency (Spanish a plus)
- Ability to work a variable schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
