Job Summary
Salesperson role focused on DIY customer sales and service in-store. Responsibilities include delivering excellent selling experiences for DIY customers via in-person visits and phone calls, achieving personal and store sales goals, providing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs, maintaining inventory accuracy, and handling store operations like stocking and back stock. Requires basic automotive knowledge, ability to navigate inventory and POS systems, and strong communication to build customer relationships; flexibility to work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends. Fleet safety certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units)
- Ability to locate and stock parts; knowledge of inventory systems and store equipment
- Basic automotive system knowledge; basic part knowledge
- Ability to safely deliver parts to customers as needed
