Job Summary
Salesperson role focused on delivering a strong DIY customer experience in-store and over the phone, achieving personal and store sales goals. Responsibilities include providing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.), maintaining inventory and store standards, handling truck put-away, cycle counts, back stock, and safe parts delivery. Requires basic automotive system knowledge, ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers, familiarity with store systems, and effective communication to build relationships with customers and management. Strong emphasis on using inventory and POS/parts lookup systems, and the ability to work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends; prior sales experience in a retail environment is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- English proficiency; Spanish a plus
- Ability to read safety rules, operating manuals, safety instructions
- Ability to work a variety of days, evenings, and weekends
- Knowledge of automotive parts and systems
