Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson role supporting the DIY business, with responsibilities including providing an excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person or by phone, achieving personal and store sales goals, delivering DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), maintaining inventory and store standards, handling shipping/receiving and back stock, and assisting with general stocking and safety. Must be able to operate inventory and POS systems, locate and stock parts, and communicate effectively with customers and management. Requires basic automotive knowledge, ability to drive for deliveries, and flexibility to work various days and hours; 2-3 years of retail sales experience and driving/navigation skills are expected; fleet safety certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- English proficiency; Spanish a plus
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Ability to work a variety of days, evenings, and weekends
- Fleet safety certification preferred
