Job Summary
Salesperson position supporting the DIY customer base with a focus on delivering excellent selling experiences in-store and over the phone. Responsibilities include achieving personal and store sales goals, providing DIY services (e.g., battery installation, testing, wiper installs), maintaining inventory accuracy, handling truck put-away, cycle counts, back stock and general store cleanliness, and delivering parts to customers as needed. Requires basic automotive system knowledge, strong communication, proficiency with store systems and parts lookup, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately
