Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson responsible for providing an excellent selling experience to DIY customers, achieving personal and store sales goals, and performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs. Duties include maintaining inventory and store operations (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), inventory control, store cleanliness, and safe delivery of parts. Requires basic automotive knowledge, ability to source from stores and suppliers, proficiency with store systems and POS/parts lookup, and strong communication to build relationships with customers and management. Prior retail sales experience (2-3 years) preferred; ability to work various shifts including weekends; driving/navigation skills; English (Spanish a plus); fleet safety certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
