Job Summary
Salesperson for a DIY automotive parts retailer. Responsibilities include delivering an excellent selling experience for DIY customers, achieving personal and store sales goals, providing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installations), maintaining inventory and store standards, handling inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), and safely delivering parts to customers. Essential skills include strong communication, ability to locate and stock parts, operate POS and parts lookup systems, understand basic automotive systems, and work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends. Preference for Spanish language; prior 2-3 years of sales in a retail environment and basic driving/navigation are useful. Fleet safety certification is noted as preferred. Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills for all units of measure
