Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson for a DIY automotive parts store. Responsibilities include providing an excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and via phone, achieving personal and store sales goals, and performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations. Also responsible for inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), store cleanliness, general stocking, and safely delivering parts to customers. Essential skills include basic automotive system knowledge, parts lookup, operating POS and inventory systems, effective communication, and the ability to work a varied schedule. 2-3 years of sales experience in retail is preferred; bilingual ability (Spanish) is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Fleet safety certification preferred
