Job Summary
Salesperson position (part-time or full-time) focused on delivering excellent DIY customer service and achieving sales goals. Responsibilities include providing selling experiences for DIY customers via in-store visits and phone calls, supporting DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations, maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock replenishment, handling deliveries to customers, and upholding store standards and safety. Requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive systems and part familiarity, ability to source parts from multiple channels, and strong communication skills in English (Spanish a plus). Prior 2-3 years of retail sales experience and the ability to work varied days and weekends are preferred. Fleet safety certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic automotive system knowledge
- Basic part knowledge
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers
- In-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes
- Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
- Safe operation of inventory systems and store equipment
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedures manuals
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Basic math skills
