Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson role in DIY automotive parts retail. Responsible for providing an excellent selling experience for DIY customers, achieving personal and store sales goals, and performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs. Maintains inventory and operational standards, handles truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, and general stocking. Requires ability to use delivery boards, inventory systems, POS, and parts lookup; strong customer communication; basic math; and flexibility to work various days, evenings, and weekends. Prior retail sales experience (2-3 years) and basic automotive knowledge are preferred; Spanish language skills are a plus. Fleet safety certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Use basic math accurately in all units of measure
- Proficiency with POS and parts lookup systems
- Knowledge of automotive systems and inventory processes
- Ability to safely deliver parts to customers as needed
