Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson supporting the DIY business and achieving sales/service objectives. Requires strong customer-facing skills, basic automotive knowledge, and competence with store systems. Responsibilities include providing an excellent selling experience for DIY customers, performing battery installations and basic services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.), maintaining inventory and store standards, and delivering parts to customers as needed. Must be able to work a variable schedule including days, evenings, and weekends; proficient in English (Spanish a plus); comfortable using inventory and POS systems and collaborating with team members to meet sales goals.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Operational knowledge of store systems and equipment
- Basic automotive system knowledge and part knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs
- Ability to perform basic math and calculations in all units of measure
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Experience with inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock)
