Salesperson

Salesperson role in a DIY automotive-parts retail environment. Responsibilities include providing an excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and over the phone, achieving personal sales goals and helping the store meet its sales targets, offering DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs, and maintaining inventory and store standards. Secondary duties cover store cleanliness, general stocking, and safely delivering parts to customers as needed. Essential skills include effective communication, English proficiency (Spanish a plus), basic math, ability to read safety and parts manuals, use of POS and parts lookup systems, operating inventory systems, and familiarity with testing/diagnostic equipment for DIY service. Prior experience of 2-3 years in a diverse retail sales environment is expected; physical demands include walking/standing, lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, and working various days, evenings, and weekends.
