Job Summary
Salesperson role in a DIY automotive parts retail environment. Responsibilities include providing an excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone, achieving personal and store sales goals, performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper replacements, maintaining store product and operational standards, managing inventory processes (including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), and delivering parts to customers as needed. Must be able to operate inventory and POS/parts lookup systems, communicate effectively with customers and team, and uphold safety and store policies; some roles require working varied shifts including days, evenings, and weekends. Physical duties include lifting up to 50-100 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods. Fluency in English (Spanish a plus) and strong customer-service orientation are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- basic automotive system knowledge and basic part knowledge
- experience using POS and parts lookup systems
- ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions

- ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
- driving/navigation ability
- basic math and store-operational skills
- fleet safety certification preferred
