Job Summary
Salesperson role focused on DIY customers with responsibilities including providing excellent selling experiences, achieving personal and store sales goals, performing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), maintaining inventory accuracy and store standards, and delivering parts as needed. Requires basic automotive knowledge, ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers, proficiency with store systems and POS/parts lookup, and strong communication in English (Spanish a plus). Prior 2-3 years of retail sales experience recommended; fleet safety certification is preferred. The role can be part time or full time and involves physical tasks such as lifting up to 50-100 pounds and working varying shifts including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Friendly communication
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Safety knowledge and skills
- Operating inventory systems and store equipment
- Parts and automotive system knowledge skills
- Operating POS and Parts lookup systems
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- May work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
