Job Summary
Entry level Salesperson responsible for delivering a strong selling experience to DIY customers, supporting in-store and phone sales, achieving personal and store sales goals, and handling DIY services such as battery installations and wiper installs. Requires familiarity with store inventory and maintenance processes, basic automotive parts knowledge, ability to use inventory and POS systems, and effective communication to build relationships with customers and team. Role may be part time or full time and involves inventory tasks, order delivery to customers, and maintaining store standards in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Entry level position
- Basic knowledge of store systems, automotive systems and parts
- Ability to source parts from multiple channels
- 2-3 years of sales experience (preferred)
- Ability to walk/stand, lift up to 50-100 lbs as needed
- ability to work diverse days including weekends
Desired Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences
- basic automotive system knowledge
- basic part knowledge
- fleet safety certification preferred
- ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers
- expert at testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY service
- English (Spanish a plus) is a plus
- ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
