Job Summary
Salesperson role focusing on delivering excellent DIY customer sales experiences and service. Responsibilities include achieving personal sales goals, supporting store sales objectives, providing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs, maintaining inventory and store product standards, and handling delivery duties as needed. Requires basic automotive parts knowledge, customer-focused communication, ability to operate inventory and POS systems, and flexibility to work various days including evenings and weekends. Fleet safety certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Ability to use basic math in all units of measure
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management
- Experience with inventory systems and store equipment
- Knowledge of automotive parts and systems
- Ability to safely perform battery installation, testing, and wiper installations
