Job Summary
Salesperson role in an automotive DIY retail environment. Responsibilities include providing an excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and over the phone, meeting personal and store sales goals, performing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.), maintaining store inventory and operational standards, and handling inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock, truck put away). Essential skills include English communication (Spanish a plus), basic math, ability to work a variety of days/evenings/weekends, and proficiency with inventory and POS/parts lookup systems. Requires 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail setting and familiarity with automotive parts and systems. The role may be part-time or full-time and involves physical tasks such as lifting up to 100 pounds and working indoors with occasional outdoor conditions.
