Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson role supporting the DIY customer base and achieving sales objectives. Requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels. Responsibilities include providing an excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person or via phone, meeting personal sales goals, supporting inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock, truck put away), performing DIY services such as battery installations and wiper installs, maintaining store cleanliness and general stocking, and safely delivering parts to customers. Skills emphasized include basic math, navigation, effective communication, and the ability to work varied schedules including evenings and weekends. Prior sales experience in a retail environment (2-3 years) and effective customer relationship building are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- basic knowledge of store systems and automotive parts
- fleet safety certification preferred
- ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers
- ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs
- ability to work various days, evenings, and weekends
- ability to safely deliver parts to customers as needed
- bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
