Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson responsible for delivering a strong DIY customer experience, battery installation and wiper installs, and maintaining store inventory and operations. Roles include providing selling support for DIY customers (in-store and phone), achieving personal and store sales goals, stocking and inventory control (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), and safely delivering parts as needed. Requires basic automotive system and parts knowledge, familiarity with store systems and POS/parts lookup tools, and strong communication. Able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends; English required with Spanish a plus. Fleet safety certification is preferred. 2-3 years of sales experience in retail helps, and the candidate should be comfortable performing duties such as inventory management, product maintenance, and customer service in a retail automotive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Entry level sales position
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- basic automotive system knowledge and basic part knowledge
- fleet safety certification preferred
- ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers
- ability to use delivery board system
- ability to work days/evenings/weekends
- English (Spanish a plus)
- ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- basic math skills
