Job Summary
Salesperson role in an automotive DIY retail setting focused on delivering excellent selling experiences, achieving personal and store sales goals, and performing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs). Responsibilities include inventory and back stock management, truck put away and cycle counts, maintaining store cleanliness and order, and safely delivering parts to customers. Requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers. Part-time or full-time with flexible scheduling, strong communication, and basic math and reading skills; English proficiency (Spanish a plus) and ability to work a range of shifts are expected. Familiarity with POS and parts lookup systems and basic diagnostic/testing equipment is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use basic math and read interview materials
- Basic knowledge of store systems and inventory processes
