Job Summary
Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls while achieving personal and store sales goals. Deliver DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs, and maintain store product and operational standards. Manage inventory processes such as truck put away, shoot outs, and cycle counts, and safely deliver parts to customers as needed. Maintain store cleanliness and handle general stocking including truck and back stock. This role requires basic driving and navigation ability, strong communication skills, and proficiency with POS and parts lookup systems. Advance Auto Parts serves both professional installers and do-it-yourself customers across thousands of locations.

- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences
