Salesforce Technical Manager - Core Data

Job Summary

Define and govern the overall data architecture strategy across Salesforce orgs, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise standards. Own end-to-end data migration execution and lead internal critical initiatives to grow the Core Data practice. Deliver technical work as a data/technical architect on billable projects at 50% utilization while managing up to 15 direct reports. Advise clients on object model best practices, sharing models, and security frameworks. Lead workshops and drive optimized solutions leveraging AI development tools to maintain delivery speed and code health. Serve as a trusted advisor shaping architectural vision and integrating scalable predictive/generative AI elements securely.

Required Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of experience leading Salesforce technical consulting projects and handling individual contributors, with a strong data focus
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Strong application design skills combined with strong data, integration, and security architecture skills
  • Proficiency with data integration tools (Informatica, Talend, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, SOQL, Python, data loading tools, and Salesforce governor limits
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly CDP)
  • Expertise in one or multiples of → Sales/Service/Experience Cloud, Salesforce Industries Cloud (Comms, H&I or FSC OR RCA/RCB)
  • Data Architecture and Management (Must have)
  • Integration Architecture (Must have)
  • Proficiency in English

Desired Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certification Preferred (Admin, App Builder, Sales, and Service Clouds, Application Architect)
  • Foundational familiarity with Agentforce architectures being a plus
  • Sharing and Visibility (Good to have)
  • Platform Security (Good to have)
  • Identity and Access Management / Integration Security (Good to have)
  • Thorough individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies, specifically keeping pace with AI-assisted delivery trends and data compliance practices
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience
  • A great listener with the ability to communicate with people in diverse roles
  • Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration
  • Resourceful and innovative thinker who can work through and solve problems
  • Adept at navigating/mediating conflict and fostering healthy dialogue
  • Strong interpersonal skills - nurture effective working relationships with others
  • Exceptional analytical skills - experience overseeing and managing business metrics, productivity, AI evaluation metrics, and outcomes
