Job Summary

Lead system design for the enterprise Salesforce core, defining metadata strategy, object modeling, and enterprise design patterns for Sales and Service. Establish engineering guardrails to manage governor limits, refactor technical debt, and write high-quality Apex, LWC, and declarative automations leveraging AI tools. Own CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows and Salesforce DX, while serving as technical authority for quote-to-cash architecture and secure API integrations connecting to billing and data warehouses. Coach developers and administrators to bridge pro-code and declarative capabilities, maintaining robust documentation and data standards. Requires 7+ years of Salesforce experience with CPQ platforms and B2B SaaS lead-to-revenue models.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce platforms
  • At least 2+ years acting as a Technical Lead or Senior Architect
  • Proven track record supporting B2B SaaS Go-To-Market models — specifically lead-to-revenue, quote-to-cash, and renewal/expansion motions
  • Hands-on experience with a CPQ platform integrated with Salesforce (Zuora CPQ or equivalent)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with Apex (including Apex Enterprise Patterns)
  • Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • Experience with SOQL/SOSL
  • Experience with Advanced Salesforce Flows
  • Experience with Validation Rules
  • Experience with Approval Processes
  • Experience with Platform Events
  • Experience with REST/Bulk/Streaming APIs
  • Experience with event-driven architecture
  • Experience with OData/External Objects
  • Experience connecting Salesforce to billing, marketing automation, and customer success platforms
  • Experience with managed package and multi-org integration
  • Experience with Git-based workflows (GitLab)
  • Experience with Salesforce DX
  • Experience with scratch orgs
  • Experience with unlocked packages
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and operation
  • Experience embedding AI agents (e.g., Glean, Claude Code) into Salesforce workflows
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate discovery, development, and testing
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (PDII)
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Reside and perform work within the United States
  • Eligible to work in the United States (E-Verify)
  • Live within commuting distance of one of our office locations (Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky or Atlanta, Georgia)
  • Work in a hybrid capacity with regular in-office presence

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce managed package development, ISVForce, or AppExchange products
  • Experience connecting Salesforce to billing, marketing automation, and customer success platforms (listed as a plus in integrations section)
