Job Summary
Design and manage complex Salesforce solutions for clients, translating business requirements into well-architected systems that leverage the platform and embed autonomous AI capabilities using Agentforce. Lead technical design sessions to architect scalable predictive and generative AI solutions, optimize performance against platform governor limits, and drive code quality through AI-assisted reviews and standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to define deliverables, develop evaluation frameworks for AI performance ROI, and execute Proof-Of-Concept development with prospects. Deep dive into system logs to debug issues and liaise with product teams to support implementations, while maintaining a target billable utilization. Travel 50-75% to client sites, with part-time pre-sales activities including discovery sessions and technical deep-dives.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 10+ years of overall experience
- minimum of 8 years on the Salesforce platform
- Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Data Cloud, Industry Clouds, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and familiarity with Agentforce
- Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions, including using AI platforms to evaluate architectural scaling and load limits
- Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices, with experience using AI tools to model data distribution and analyze potential data skew risks
- Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture
- Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth) and how to configure them securely
- Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, etc.), utilizing AI platforms to parse third-party REST API documentation and map complex data schemas
- Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
- Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL)
- Practical fluency using AI coding assistants and modern development ecosystems (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to accelerate delivery, document technical architecture, and maintain a high standard of code quality
- Expert level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes
- Strong background in design/development of large web-based systems, or complete software product lifecycle exposure
Desired Qualifications
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect
- Other relevant AI/ML, AI Specialist, or Cloud Architect certifications
