Job Summary
Design and implement comprehensive integration solutions between Salesforce and the IES Gateway, ensuring reliable data synchronization for grant management and financial reporting workflows. Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools to establish secure data flows between Salesforce and state systems. Guide development teams in adhering to both Salesforce and state system standards while maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for all integration components. Partner with Client stakeholders to translate complex integration needs into technical solutions that meet federal and state security requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 7+ years in Salesforce architecture and development roles
- 2+ years experience with government system integrations
- Proven experience with state-level eligibility systems or similar platforms
- Expert knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and integration patterns
- Strong experience with API design, web services, and ETL processes
- Proficiency in integration technologies (MuleSoft, SOAP/REST APIs, middleware)
- Deep understanding of government eligibility systems and grant management processes
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work with government stakeholders
- Strong project management and documentation abilities
- Leadership qualities to guide cross-functional teams
- Analytical approach to solving complex integration challenges
Desired Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Developer Architect
- Salesforce Certified Integration Architect
- Previous experience with state-level system integrations
- Knowledge of federal grant management requirements
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies in government projects
- Experience with DevOps practices for Salesforce (CI/CD pipelines, Gearset, GitHub)
