Job Summary
Design and develop Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud solutions with a focus on Veeva CRM integrations, building custom components aligned with Pharma/MedTech business processes. Collaborate with stakeholders and functional consultants to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, while leading junior developers and guiding offshore teams. Ensure adherence to Salesforce and Veeva best practices, security, and compliance frameworks including 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP by conducting code reviews and maintaining documentation. Evaluate emerging features to recommend adoption strategies and optimize implementation performance. This role requires 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, proficiency in Apex and LWC, and a background in the Pharma or MedTech domain.
Required Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience
- 2+ years working with Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud (Pharma, MedTech, Health)
- Strong expertise in Veeva CRM (Sales, Medical, Events Management) and exposure to Veeva Vault
- Proficiency in Apex
- Proficiency in Visualforce
- Proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Proficiency in Salesforce Flows
- Proficiency in Omnistudio
- Experience with Salesforce Connect
- Experience with APIs
- Experience with Middleware (MuleSoft/ETL tools)
- Strong knowledge of data modeling
- Strong knowledge of security
- Strong knowledge of compliance requirements for regulated industries
Desired Qualifications
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer and Information Science, Management Information Systems
- At least one of the following: Salesforce Certified Administrator; additional Salesforce certifications such as Business Analyst, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or other role-relevant Salesforce Cloud certifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification
- Salesforce Industries (Vlocity/Omnistudio) certification
- Veeva CRM Administrator/Developer certification
- Salesforce Health Cloud or Life Sciences Cloud certification
- Background in Pharma, Biotechnology, or MedTech domain
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in Agile delivery models
- Experience mentoring or leading technical teams
