Job Summary
Salesforce Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, and Flow; own and evolve integrations between Salesforce and other internal systems; cross-train engineers on Salesforce architecture; translate business requirements from internal stakeholders into technical solutions; participate in the full development lifecycle with emphasis on reliable data flow, automated processes, and robust testing; collaborate with Finance, RevOps, Sales, CS, IT, and Implementation in a hybrid Chicago-based role requiring on-site presence at least 3 days/week.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of demonstrated Salesforce development experience with Apex, SOQL, LWC, and Salesforce automation tools.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
- Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or iPaaS tooling.
- Familiarity with deployment and release management practices—version control (Git), sandbox management, change sets, or tooling like Copado, Gearset, or Salesforce DX.
- Strong business analysis skills: ability to gather requirements, propose solutions, and communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and using project management tools like Jira.
- Working knowledge of data modeling, relational databases, and ETL concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience.
- Based in the Chicago area or willing to relocate; able to work on-site at least 3 days per week for this role.
