Job Summary
Design, develop, configure, and deploy Salesforce-based solutions for the VA Loan Guaranty IT modernization program in a DevSecOps-enabled Agile environment. Build and customize Salesforce across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and declarative tools; develop API integrations with REST/SOAP and support API-first/event-driven architectures. Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and UX to ensure secure, compliant, scalable applications (NIST 800-53, FedRAMP) while maintaining data integrity and governance. Participate in CI/CD processes with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Copado, implement automated testing and security scanning, and support data migration, transformation, and interoperability across VA and third-party systems. Strong emphasis on federal-style security, RBAC, encryption, and deployment strategies within an Agile framework.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Salesforce development or engineering roles
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce configuration
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
