Job Summary
Salesforce DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support the Salesforce platform and other applications. Responsibilities include release management, deployment automation, environment management across Development, QA, Staging and Production, collaboration with developers/QA/product managers, QA of release packages, documentation, continuous improvement of processes, security/compliance, and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Requires hands-on experience with Salesforce development environments, Groovy scripting for Jenkins, and deployment troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development, release management, or DevOps
- In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning) and Salesforce release cycles
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) and version control systems (Git)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Salesforce certifications are a plus (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, PD1)
- Hands-on experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Shell scripts for Jenkins job creation or maintenance
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce development environments and deployment processes
- CI/CD setup and automation
- Scripting with Groovy (Jenkins)
- Kubernetes experience (Preferred)
- Sandbox refreshes and post-refresh activities
