Job Summary
Design scalable Salesforce solutions and lead technical design sessions to deliver enterprise-level implementations for government clients. Develop complex customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce while establishing best practices for security and performance. Create technical documentation, mentor junior developers, and manage integrations with external systems and third-party applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate new features and propose technical solutions aligned with business requirements. Obtain a Public Trust clearance to support this remote role within a team focused on Defense and Civilian missions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 6+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification
- Tableau Desktop Foundation certification
- Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations
- Advanced expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce development
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security models and sharing architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Proven experience using Tableau software with Salesforce reporting
- Proven experience designing large-scale Salesforce implementations
- Strong knowledge of API integration patterns and middleware solutions
- Experience with data migration and ETL tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Ability to obtain public trust clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with government IT projects
- Knowledge of FedRAMP compliance requirements
- Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms
- Additional certifications in Salesforce specialty clouds
- Experience with AI/ML implementation in Salesforce
- Experience with GearSet
- Experience with GitHub
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
- Experience with change management in enterprise environments
