Job Summary
Salesforce Developer at Interact responsible for owning and evolving Interact Software’s Salesforce ecosystem. Design, develop, and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and platform events; manage CPQ pricing/quoting workflows; create robust SOQL/SQL queries; ensure data cleanliness and governance; integrate Salesforce with internal and third‐party systems via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware; enable GTM integrations (HubSpot, 6sense, marketing, sales, RevOps tooling); implement Einstein features and security best practices; establish automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and release management; provide documentation and admin enablement; work in a lean, autonomous environment with high ownership; strong collaboration with stakeholders and a bias toward shipping software.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer in a product/SaaS or similar environment
- Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and general SQL concepts; broader software engineering experience (Python/Java/JavaScript/C#) is desirable
- Hands-on experience implementing/maintaining CPQ (pricing, quotes, approvals)
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data model and data governance
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, External Services, and middleware
- Strong testing discipline (unit tests, mocking, TDD) and awareness of governor limits
- Security-focused mindset (OWASP, field-level security, Shield)
- Familiarity with CI/CD (Git, GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps, SFDX) and release management
- Proficiency with LWC, Flow, validation rules, and process automation
- Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation
- Hands-on, self-sufficient engineer who ships iteratively
- Nice to Have: Salesforce Certifications, revenue workflows, BI tooling
- Experience in B2B SaaS or digital workplace solutions
