Job Summary

Salesforce Developer responsible for hands-on production support and enhancements for Salesforce platforms. You will troubleshoot defects, data integrity issues, automation failures, permissions problems, and integration errors across configurations, Apex, Flows, Lightning components, and integrations. You’ll perform root-cause analysis, implement fixes through configuration or code changes, validate in lower environments, and support controlled production deployments. You will document issues, root causes, and resolutions; partner with Business Analysts and stakeholders to communicate impacts and timelines; contribute to backlog refinement with solution architects; support unit testing, system testing, and UAT; and help manage a small enhancement backlog alongside production support. Emphasis on adhering to SDLC, release management, security, and auditability standards, particularly in public-sector or regulated environments, and promoting platform reliability and maintainability. Ideal candidates have strong Salesforce functionality experience, declarative automation skills, and track record in break/fix or managed services environments, with clear documentation and effective cross-functional communication.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of THREE (3) years of professional Salesforce experience
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Ability to commute to or work from the San Antonio Guidehouse office
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD SECRET security clearance
  • Strong experience with Salesforce core functionality (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or custom applications)
  • Experience with declarative automation such as Flow, validation rules, and approval processes
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical details to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience supporting public-sector Salesforce implementations or regulated environments
  • Salesforce certifications (Business Analyst, Administrator, Advanced Administrator) preferred
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid-Agile delivery models
  • Prior experience supporting government clients, audits, or compliance-driven programs
