Job Summary
Design and architecture components, interfaces, and services spanning Salesforce, Mulesoft, and NetSuite. Contribute to features involving complex integrations and advocate for tradeoffs between delivery speed and feature completeness. Develop clean, scalable code for the Salesforce platform and lead debugging of unexpected cross-system behaviors. Provide guidance for finance workflows and employ AI tools to boost development velocity and automate documentation. This role supports the Enterprise Systems Engineering team, working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Product. Candidates must have 4-6 years of hands-on Salesforce experience and fluency in English.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer
- Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and declarative automation tools
- A strong grasp of multiple systems in our landscape (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, MuleSoft) and their interdependencies especially within the Finance undertakings of a B2B SaaS company
- Ability to work with Mulesoft or other middleware to bring the vision in the architecture to realisation
- Experience leading the debugging of complex, unexpected cross-system behaviors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for a global, asynchronous team
- An ownership mindset, with a proactive approach to finding and solving problems
- Working knowledge of NetSuite or other ERP software
- Holding certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder
- Hands-on experience navigating and testing core Salesforce features like Flows, Validation Rules, Custom Objects, Permission Sets, and Profiles
- Experience using tools like Salesforce Inspector or the Developer Console to troubleshoot data and verify backend changes during manual testing
- Previous experience testing within Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Salesforce CPQ
- An understanding of Salesforce's tri-annual release cycle (Spring, Summer, Winter) and how to regression test against forced platform updates
- Proficiency in writing SQL, SOQL, Salesforce reporting, Data Import, Postman
