Job Summary
Salesforce Developer role focused on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Visualforce, and API integrations. Key emphasis on Experience Cloud (Community) portal development, FormAssembly integrations, and robust deployment with CI/CD. Collaboration with Salesforce Administrators, project managers, data analysts, and end users to deliver scalable, secure code with strong test coverage and adherence to bulkification and governor limits. Includes governance of deployments, documentation, and ongoing improvements across the organization’s Salesforce ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in a professional environment
- Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
- Experience designing and implementing API integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP (OAuth 2.0, JWT, Named Credentials, Platform Events)
- Experience building Experience Cloud (Community) sites and portals
- Hands-on experience integrating FormAssembly with Salesforce
- Proficiency with Salesforce DX, CLI, sandboxes, deployment tooling and version control (Git/GitHub)
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security model (sharing, roles, permissions, field-level security)
- Ability to write maintainable, well-documented code with unit test coverage and bulkification
- Ability to work independently and in a team; strong communication skills
- Experience in agile/scrum environments
Desired Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I (preferred)
- Salesforce Administrator and/or Experience Cloud Consultant certifications
- Experience configuring, customizing, and supporting Experience Cloud community portals
- FormAssembly integration experience
- CI/CD pipelines and test automation
- Experience with FormAssembly advanced features (workflow, connectors, conditional logic, e-signature, HIPAA data handling)
- Experience integrating Salesforce with middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Workato, Boomi, Zapier)
- Nonprofit sector experience
- Knowledge of data privacy frameworks (CCPA, HIPAA) in California
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Agile / scrum experience
