Job Summary
The Salesforce Data Cloud Engineer provides technical leadership in designing and developing scalable enterprise data and application solutions. Responsibilities include building and optimizing Data Cloud pipelines, defining identity resolution rulesets, implementing data governance, and collaborating with various teams to translate business use cases into Data Cloud models. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering and 2 years hands-on with Salesforce Data Cloud. Strong SQL skills, experience with ETL/ELT processes, and a solid understanding of data privacy are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, CRM, or Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
- 2+ years hands-on with Salesforce Data Cloud or an equivalent enterprise CDP
- Strong SQL proficiency and hands-on expertise with Data Cloud entities
- Proven experience activating audiences across Marketing Cloud, Advertising platforms, Sales/Service Cloud, or Commerce Cloud
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, streaming technologies, REST/GraphQL APIs, and Git-based CI/CD
- Strong understanding of consent management, data privacy, PII/PHI protection, and compliance frameworks
- Professional experience developing across multiple layers of the application stack
- Experience in structured, cross-functional environments

- Experience with MDM platforms
- Experience with Reverse ETL
- Experience with enterprise data warehouses
- Experience with Copado or similar Salesforce DevOps tooling
