Job Summary
Design and maintain Salesforce Data Cloud architecture, including unified data models, identity resolution, and activation strategies for mid-sized implementations. Lead technical workshops with engineering teams to translate business requirements into actionable solutions while creating detailed architecture and data flow diagrams. Oversee solution implementation by managing integrations with CRM, marketing automation, and data warehouse systems to ensure seamless data flow. Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, presenting strategies to executives and evaluating client needs to propose optimal Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Salesforce Data Cloud Architecture
- 10 years experience
- Strong knowledge in SalesForce Data Cloud Architecture
- Completed at least two full mid-sized Salesforce Data Cloud implementation Projects
- Over 2 years of experience in customer data modeling best practices
- Act as a technical specialist for Salesforce Data Cloud components like Data Streams, Unified Data Model, Transformations/Insights, Identity Resolution, Segmentations, Activations, Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Cloud Pages, Ad Studio, Site Mapping, and Website Personalization
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and configuration guides
- Designing data models and schemas within the CDP to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of customer data
- Oversee solution implementation
- Managing integrations with various data sources and systems (CRM, marketing automation tools, data warehouses, etc.) to ensure seamless data flow into and out of the CDP
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team throughout the project lifecycle
- Participate in technical design and data model workshops with engineering teams and stakeholders
- Translate and communicate technical requirements and solutions to the business using stories, and present strategies to executives
- Lead sessions to understand client needs in technical marketing and Salesforce Data Cloud, and act as a key technical resource
- Evaluate client requirements, propose solutions, and explain the capabilities and limitations of Salesforce Data Cloud and related platforms
