Job Summary
Salesforce Business Analyst responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements for Salesforce implementations, conducting gap analyses between current processes and Salesforce capabilities, designing and recommending Salesforce solutions (configurations, objects, workflows, validations, reports, dashboards), collaborating with developers and project managers throughout the SDLC, creating and executing test plans including UAT, and providing training and ongoing support to end-users. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 3+ years of Salesforce BA experience, Salesforce certifications (ADM 201 required), strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with data migration/integration; knowledge of Salesforce tools and Agile methodologies is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, computer science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) is required; additional certifications (e.g., Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant) are highly preferred
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration capabilities (objects, fields, workflows, process builder, validation rules, reports, dashboards)
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable business terms
- Experience with data migration and integration projects is a plus
- Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning Web Components is advantageous but not required
