Job Summary
Administer, configure, and maintain the Salesforce platform to support daily business operations, including custom objects, fields, page layouts, and Lightning App Builder. Build and optimize automation through Flows, approval processes, and system enhancements while managing user access, security settings, and data integrity. Support end users by troubleshooting issues, conducting training, and promoting adoption of best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop scalable solutions, and coordinate integrations, testing, and change management. Maintain system documentation and ensure compliance with governance standards. Test new releases, perform data cleansing and deduplication, and stay current on platform features to maximize capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3–5 years of experience administering Salesforce in a business environment or as a consultant
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including standard and custom objects, security model, profiles, permission sets, record types, and page layouts
- Experience building and maintaining Salesforce Flows and other declarative automation tools
- Experience with reports, dashboards, and data management tools such as Data Loader or Data Import Wizard
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Experience and Lightning App Builder
- Experience supporting Salesforce integrations and understanding of REST APIs and data synchronization concepts
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (required or strongly preferred)
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification
- Salesforce Business Analyst or Platform App Builder certification
- Experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud
- Experience with data migration, cleansing, and governance
- Basic understanding of SOQL, Apex, or Salesforce development concepts to effectively collaborate with developers
- Experience working in Agile project environments
