Sales Training Manager

Job Summary

Capture and analyze training needs for the US Wound Care sales organization, then lead the development of training programs, processes, tools, and activities aligned to identified needs. Partner with Sales, Clinical, Product, and Marketing peers locally and globally to centrally develop and administer training programs that ensure consistent activation of GTM strategies. Develop an annual training calendar focusing on product knowledge, corporate selling methodologies, strategic partners activation, reimbursement insights, and market trends. Execute methodologies for measuring A&P investments against improved assessment and deepening knowledge while ensuring compliance in the utilization of clinical evidence. Own the day-to-day management and execution of the Field Sales Trainer training program, support digital and in-person educational materials, and present trainings in the field as needed. Strategically manage the A&P budget and customize global programs to meet local market needs while co-traveling with field sellers across the country.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong training experience – min 3 years leading teams and training
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to activate training for all stages of B2B sales cycle
  • Strong experience in the wound care therapy space with a minimum of 3 years working within the healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry as a trainer, clinician, or sales management professional
  • Ability to quickly garner respect amongst peers (sales, marketing, finance, distribution and operations)
  • Ability to identify tasks, take initiative and drive for results
  • Proven problem solver with strong ability to multi-task and handle project deadlines
  • Demonstrable managerial courage with ability to manage and measure work production
  • Effective communication, presentation, and collaborative skills
  • Strong organizational and project management experience
  • Proven ability to identify new market trends and knowledge of healthcare/government legislation and impact on customers
  • Experience in converting technical product information to Salesforce and customer relevant benefits
  • Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Must be able to travel often within the aligned Essity Regional structure
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
