Job Summary
Sell and service a wide range of insurance products including farm, crop, auto, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental, while meeting quarterly sales and retention goals. Consult with clients to explain policies, analyze coverage needs, and recommend solutions. Prospect new customers through community networking; ensure policy documentation and service requirements are completed accurately; inspect properties to assess risk and recommend corrective actions. Promote Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance (GFB) and GFBMIC through local advertising and community involvement; engage in continuous professional development and product training. Foster strong relationships between county offices and the home office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Georgia driver’s license
- Must have passed Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams (License Required)
- Actively pursuing licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Self-motivated, community-minded, and eager to grow
