Sales Trainee Sales - Outside Sales

Sales Trainee at Builders FirstSource focusing on outside sales. Under general supervision, develops industry-specific knowledge and experience required for promotion to Outside Sales Representative. Rotates through departments (yard operations, production, dispatch/scheduling/delivery, inside sales) to learn sales techniques and processes. Accompanies Outside Sales Reps or Sales Manager on customer calls to observe effective sales and customer service techniques. May perform inside sales/counter responsibilities (answering phones, taking orders) and participate in outside sales tasks (take offs, processing orders, obtaining signatures on tickets, making sales calls to new/existing customers). Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or related field and 0-2 years of related experience.
