Job Summary
Sales Trainee learns Graybar’s sales and distribution process through formal training and hands-on rotations across sales, logistics, customer service, transactional and project processes. Develops product knowledge of electrical, communications, and security equipment while gaining exposure to multiple business areas. Must be able to drive a vehicle with a valid license, work independently and with a team, and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal and communication skills. Rank-and-file responsibilities include learning sales workflows, distribution operations, and customer-facing processes as preparation for a full sales role.
Required Qualifications
- 2- or 4-year degree or equivalent work experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to drive and operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
