Job Summary
As a Sales Trader, Trading, you will execute clients’ equities orders as part of the Execution team, serving as a Designated Trading Representative or Junior Sales Trader based on experience. You will use Excel and coding skills to build and maintain desk tools, assist the broader team in managing internal workflows, and collate CLSA research and market intelligence to disseminate to clients. You will develop execution skills to support Best Execution, help automate tools, monitor client portfolios and trading activity, and build relationships with onshore and offshore stakeholders to enable high levels of teamwork and communication. Ongoing reading and mentoring will deepen your knowledge of market dynamics, client interest in stocks, and related trends. You must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least 2 years in the industry, with strong Excel and coding abilities, plus excellent English communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and above in Business or relevant disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the industry
- Strong comprehension and communication skills
- High-level understanding of Microsoft Excel, ability to code/build & maintain complicated spreadsheets
- Strong command in both written and spoken English
