Job Summary
Sales Trader responsible for growing a book of business in the metals sector (carbon flat roll products) with emphasis on construction and infrastructure markets. Requires 5+ years of Outside Sales experience in metals and steel trading preferably with carbon flat roll products (galvanized, galvalume, pre-painted). Must be able to travel within the Midwest and develop new business across multiple markets, with potential growth into leadership/management. Candidate should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and energetic, with a focus on hunting new business and expanding relationships.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years Outside Sales experience in the metals industry
- Steel trading experience preferred (carbon flat roll products)
- Ability to grow an existing book of business across multiple markets/sectors (construction and infrastructure)
- Detail-oriented, high energy, highly organized
- Willingness to travel across Midwest multiple times per month
