Job Summary
Manage a high-impact sales team of fewer than 10 agents across a 40+ property portfolio in San Diego County, driving revenue targets and crushing average days vacant. Own the full funnel from lead scoring to lease signing by scheduling daily tours, coaching agents in real time, and hunting down stalled deals before they go cold. Recruit talent, build training materials, and enforce CRM standards while partnering with Marketing, Property Management, and Asset Management to align on absorption targets and pricing strategy. Set team quotas, track daily KPIs, and deliver weekly field intel to Asset Management. Valid CA driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of direct people-management experience in a hands-on, quota-driven sales environment
- Real full-cycle lead management experience from first contact through close
- Experience setting and managing team quotas that ladder up to broader business objectives
- Experience managing a full sales operation including outside sales, inside sales, and support staff
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Marketing, Property Management, and Asset Management
- Real understanding of the full sales funnel and customer lifetime value
- Fluency with a CRM or sales-tracking platform and the ability to train others and enforce standards
- Valid CA driver's license and reliable wheels
- Exceptional communication skills with the confidence to deliver candid feedback and navigate difficult conversations
- A sharp eye for the numbers with the ability to spot what's off, get to the root of it, and turn performance around fast
Desired Qualifications
- Real estate or leasing experience
- Background in automotive, home services, vacation ownership, insurance, mortgage, financial services, luxury retail, hospitality, or other performance-driven sales industries
- History of hitting ambitious targets
