Sales Team Leader - Charities & Housing

Job Summary
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Executives and Account Managers in the Charities and Housing sectors. Drive team performance against new business and growth targets by conducting regular 1-2-1s, pipeline reviews, and performance discussions. Coach individuals on prospecting, outreach, and business development best practice while ensuring accurate forecasting, CRM management, and sales reporting. Support the team with strategic opportunities and complex deals to deliver successful customer outcomes for public sector organisations. Collaborate with internal teams to maximise opportunities within the housing and charity markets.
Required Qualifications

- strong understanding of public sector sales
- ideally across the Housing and Charities sectors

- previous people management experience
- demonstrated the ability to lead, support and develop colleagues through coaching, mentoring and role modelling sales excellence
- Proven success in IT, technology or managed services sales
- Experience working for a reseller, MSP or technology solutions provider
- Strong understanding of new business development and account growth
- Demonstrable coaching and mentoring experience
- Knowledge of public sector procurement and buying processes
- Experience selling technology solutions to senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial, forecasting and pipeline management skills
- Excellent communication, leadership and relationship-building abilities
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
