Job Summary
Sales Support Specialist provides operational support to the sales team by processing customer orders in the ERP system, preparing quotations based on approved pricing structures and product specifications, coordinating with production, purchasing, shipping, and other internal departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment, and serving as a liaison between customers and internal teams to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries regarding products and order status, generating pick sheets and bills of materials, communicating order changes or delays to stakeholders, maintaining accurate customer records and documentation, monitoring open orders to prevent delivery issues, providing reception and general administrative support, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/order processing systems; compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and OSHA requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of customer service, sales support, order management, or related experience
- Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/order processing systems
